Regardless of whether you need Gastric Band or Sleeve Gastrectomy your entire program, including ongoing support, will cost $4,950 if you have private health insurance.

All this is included:

• Surgeon's fee
• Assistant surgeon's fee
• Anaesthetist's fee
• A medical review every month if you have a gastric band until you reach your goal weight, then annually for life
• A medical review every 3 months for sleeve gastrectomy until you reach your goal weight, then annually for life
• All band adjustments including Huber needles and consumables
• Free access to additional medical consultations if problems arise.
• 2 x psychologist consultations – before surgery and again at 6 months
• 8 x dietitian and nutritionist consultations
• Access to fortnightly psychologist-moderated support group
• Full colour dietary handouts, brochures and recipes
• No out-of pocket costs if you ever need corrective surgery for your Gastric Band (provided you maintain your health insurance)
